“How do Lowe’s associates complete a customer’s online order and have it ready for in-store pickup?”
Millions of orders are placed online every year that are fulfilled by Lowe’s store associates. The old application displayed non-critical information, lacked hierarchy and was difficult to use. We needed to provide associates a more efficient way of tracking and gathering orders. To ensure we created a product that was easy to use and understand we conducted interviews, job shadowed and user-tested. We updated the UX/UI by streamlining the flow, introducing new functionality and enhancing usability. As a result of our redesign, on average, associates were able to complete their fulfillment 55 seconds faster.
