Holdings overview pages

“How do we create an interface that is welcoming to novice investors and provides information that expert investors need?

Ally’s Voice Of Customer demonstrated a desire for a holdings page that illustrated a clear portfolio breakdown and holdings account overview. To get a better picture of the investor’s needs, we surveyed investors with varying levels of experience to understand what they considered critical information for a holdings overview page. After receiving investor feedback we created a design strategy that incorporated an easy to understand overview that allowed the user the ability to segment and drill-down into the information as needed. We created prototypes and user-tested with a variety of clients and prospects to ensure that the design was successful.
